ReLink featured in the British Journal of Nursing (BJN)

Gema Munoz-Mozas, a lead vascular access nurse at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust recently published an article on “Solving the problem of IV dislodgement” in the British Journal of Nursing (BJN). In her article, Gema describes how devices like ReLink may offer patients and healthcare providers a system that solves the complex problem of IV catheter failure.

"In the recent years, new breakaway connector systems, such as ReLink, have been designed, which allow the tubing to become disconnected when undue pressure or pull is placed on it" Gema Munoz-Mozas (2022).

We express our gratitude to the author and the BJN for highlighting the complex problem of IV catheter failure and the importance of ReLink to reduce errors and improve care on a global scale.
